MerchSense Copilot reads your catalog, allocations, shows, deal terms, sales and settlements, then proposes the next move. Nothing changes until an admin approves it.
Drafts load-ins for upcoming shows from sell-through at comparable venues, capped by the stock you actually have.
Projects stockouts show by show and proposes a reorder before the order-by date, using lead times for soft, hard and media goods.
Reviews settlements for count variances, unusual comps or refunds, and venue cuts that differ from that venue's usual terms.
Writes the end-of-night report and suggests tour price changes, each as a proposal you approve or reject.
Approvals re-check live data before anything executes, and each action runs exactly once.

02Register
A register built for the line at the merch table
The Encore Register app takes card-present payments through Stripe Terminal: Tap to Pay on iPhone with no extra hardware, or a Stripe Reader M2 over Bluetooth.
Split tenders across card, cash, comps and external payments on a single sale.
Comps carry a reason, and comps or flagged discounts can require a manager passcode.
Bundles and discounts with redemption limits, priced the same way on the device and the server.
A show-scoped catalog with tour price overrides, and a stock check before any card is charged.

03Offline mode
Keep selling when the venue Wi-Fi gives out
Every sale is written to an encrypted outbox on the device before any network call. When the connection returns, the Register syncs on its own.
Offline card payments are stored by the Stripe Terminal SDK and forwarded once the device is back online.
Sales are recorded idempotently, so retries, app restarts and resyncs never create duplicates.
A sync screen shows what is pending, what synced, and anything the server refused.

04Settlement
Venue settlement, calculated for you
Deal terms live on each show: separate merch cuts for soft, hard and media goods, venue card fees, flat fees and tax. Settlement math comes straight from the sales ledger.
Count by exception: expected counts are pre-filled, so you only type the numbers that differ.
Venue rep sign-off stamps the settlement, and discrepancies post to the inventory ledger.
Confirmed counts carry over as the next show's load-in.

05Payouts
Card revenue goes to the artist's own Stripe account
Each artist gets a Stripe Connect account, set up in a few minutes without leaving Encore. Merch revenue is never commingled with a manager's, a label's, or ours.
Stripe collects identity and bank details directly. Encore never handles them.
Balance, payouts, payout schedule, disputes and tax forms are all managed in the Encore dashboard.

Inventory & tours
Stock by size, allocated to every tour
Every product tracks quantity per size. Allocate what each tour needs, load in per show, and carry leftovers to the next date.
Per-size counts for apparel, single-quantity tracking for everything else.
Tour allocations with optional per-tour pricing.
An append-only ledger records every receipt, load-in, sale and adjustment.
Managers & labels
One login for every artist you work with
Switch between artists from a single account, with a roster view that rolls up performance and alerts across every act you can access.
Team roles per artist, so each person sees only the artists they have been invited to.
Each artist keeps its own Stripe account, subscription and records.
Reports & audience
A ledger you can hand to an accountant
Sales by product and by show, inventory status and revenue trends, all exportable to CSV. Optionally capture fan emails at checkout.
Reports are generated fresh from the same ledger the Register writes to.
Fan email capture is deduplicated per artist and exports to CSV.
Security
Money and fan data, handled carefully
Card data stays with Stripe
Card-present payments run through Stripe Terminal and saved billing cards through Stripe Checkout. Encore never receives raw card numbers.
Encrypted payloads
Credentials and personal data are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they leave the browser, on top of TLS. Offline sales are encrypted on the device.
Per-artist access control
Every request is checked against your role on that artist, and row-level security keeps each artist's records separate. The copilot is bound to one artist too.
Run the merch table like a headliner.
Set up your artist, load your catalog, and take your first payment at the next show. The copilot handles the counting.
